We, a non-profit making, non-political charitable organization established to promote Tamil Language education at all levels - from Beginners to Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Tamil.

Our organization has a working relationship with the British Tamil Examination Board (BTEB) www.bteb.org.uk to promote learning at all levels. Nursery, Reception, Grade1-Grade6, Grade 7 (ordinary Level), Grade 8 (Advanced Level). Examinations are conducted annually, and certificates are issued with appropriate grades. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are issued at the annual medal award ceremony for students who have obtained appropriate grades in the examinations by the British Tamil Examination Board.

Our service includes distribution of books, suitable in support of the above curriculum They are a set of ten (10) books Tamil Arivu series. Refer to the Tamil Book page for information on ordering the above books.

TEARC also promotes the Cambridge Ordinary Level for Grade 7 students and Advanced Level Examination for grade 8 students. Study guides are available for the above-mentioned examinations.

TEARC has signed an agreement with Tanjavur Tamil University in India and operate as a recruitment Centre for Tamil Valar Maiyam of Tanjaur Tamil University. Students who are enrolled are provided with regular workshops, study groups etc. enabling them to prepare for the BA and MA examinations.

Our organization have agreement to work with the University of Coventry to establish various student exchange programs with Tanjavur Tamil University. Work is in progress to accredit various certifications available for students in the Europe and UK.

Our service also includes hosting seminars on various topics covering Language teaching methods, curriculum etc.
